Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation; use effective contraception.

  • Grapefruit juice

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to atorvastatin
  • Active liver disease
  • Child-Pugh B and C
  • Pregnancy and lactation

  • Constipation

  • Report unexplained muscle pain
  • Avoid alcohol
  • Monitor for liver function abnormalities

  • Risk of rhabdomyolysis
