Dosage (summary)
Initial dose: 50 mg once daily; maintenance dose: 25 mg to 100 mg once daily depending on blood pressure response.

Antihypertensive effect typically observed within 6 hours, with peak effect at 2-4 weeks.
Special Populations
- Elderly patients may require dose adjustment.
