Indication

Dosage (summary)
180 mg loading dose, then 90 mg twice daily.

Onset: 30 mins, Duration: 6-8 hours

- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safety in pregnancy not established; not recommended during breastfeeding.
Key Drug Interactions
- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors
- CYP3A4 inducers
- Digoxin
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to ticagrelor
- Active bleeding
- Severe hepatic impairment

- Bleeding
- Dyspnoea
- Dizziness

- Take with aspirin unless contraindicated
- Avoid missed doses
- Monitor for bleeding

- Increased bleeding risk
- Bradyarrhythmia
