Indication
Treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus in overweight patients.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: Start with 500 mg three times daily or 850 mg/1000 mg twice daily with meals. Max 2550 mg/day. Children: Start with 500 mg/850 mg once daily.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: Few days, Duration: Up to 2 weeks for full effect.
