Dosage (summary)
10 mg to 30 mg daily for adults.
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Crosses placenta; may affect fetal development. Excreted in breast milk; caution advised.

- CYP 3A4 inducers
- CYP 3A4 inhibitors
- Oestrogens
- NSAIDs
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone
- Peptic ulcer
- Osteoporosis
- Psychosis
- Systemic infections

- Hypertension
- Psychiatric reactions
- Fluid retention

- Monitor for psychiatric symptoms
