Dosage (summary)
Initial IV dose: 100 mg to 500 mg over 30 seconds to 10 minutes; repeat every 4-6 hours as needed.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Crosses placenta; may cause fetal abnormalities; caution in breastfeeding due to potential adrenal suppression.

- CYP3A inhibitors (increased side effects)
- Diuretics (risk of hypokalaemia)

- Active tuberculosis
- Live vaccines in immunosuppressed patients
