    Indication

    Relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis and chronic idiopathic urticaria.

    Dosage (summary)

    Adults: 10 mL (5 mg) once daily; Children 6-11 years: 5 mL (2.5 mg) once daily; Children 2-5 years: 2.5 mL (1.25 mg) once daily.

    Onset of Action / Duration

    Onset: 30 mins, Duration: 24 hours

    Special Populations

    • Renal impairment
    • Children under 2 years

    Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

    Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to unknown effects.

    Key Drug Interactions

    • Alcohol
    • Ketoconazole
    • Erythromycin
    • Fluoxetine

    Contraindications

    • Hypersensitivity to desloratadine or excipients
