Dosage (summary)
Apply a thin film once daily; discontinue when controlled.
Special Populations
- Paediatric patients (under 2 years)
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Contraindications
- History of sensitivity reactions
- Herpes simplex
- Vaccinia
- Varicella
Common side effects
- Burning
- Itching
- Irritation
- Dryness
- Folliculitis
Counselling Points
- Apply to affected area only
- Avoid use in nappy areas
- Monitor for skin irritation
Serious warnings
- Not for ophthalmic use
- Risk of HPA axis suppression
- Avoid long-term use
