    Indication

    Treatment of HIV-1 infection and Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis (PrEP) in high-risk adults.

    Dosage (summary)

    One tablet once daily, with or without food.

    Special Populations

    • Renal impairment
    • Hepatic impairment

    Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

    Not recommended during pregnancy; avoid breastfeeding to prevent HIV transmission.

    Key Drug Interactions

    • Nephrotoxic medicines
    • Didanosine
    • Atazanavir
    • Lopinavir/ritonavir

    Contraindications

    • Hypersensitivity to components
    • Moderate to severe renal failure
    • Unknown or positive HIV-1 status
