Indication
Prevention and treatment of seizures during or after neurosurgery and control of status epilepticus.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: Loading dose 10-15 mg/kg IV, maintenance 300-400 mg daily. Neonates: 10-20 mg/kg IV.

- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
May cause fetal harm; avoid in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
