- Hypersensitivity to fosfomycin
- Severe renal insufficiency
- Patients undergoing haemodialysis

- Diarrhoea
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain

- Take on an empty stomach
- Report severe diarrhoea
- Avoid re-administration if hypersensitivity occurs
