Indication
Treatment of hypothyroidism.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 50-100 mcg daily, adjusted as needed. Special caution in elderly and cardiac patients.

- Severe hypothyroidism
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Continue therapy during pregnancy; monitor TSH. Safe during breastfeeding.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to levothyroxine
- Untreated adrenal insufficiency
- Untreated thyrotoxicosis
