Indication

Dosage (summary)
Adults: 5-10 mL every 4 hours, max 4 doses/day. Use for no longer than 3 days.

Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

- Risk of dependency
- Respiratory depression in ultra-rapid metabolisers
- CNS depression with alcohol
