- Dyspepsia
- Oesophageal ulcer
- Bone pain
- Hypocalcaemia
Counselling Points
- Take with a full glass of water
- Remain upright for 30 mins after taking
- Do not take at bedtime
- Report any symptoms of oesophageal irritation
Serious warnings
- Risk of oesophageal irritation
- Low-energy femoral fractures
- Osteonecrosis of the jaw
