Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to flecainide
- Myocardial infarction
- Heart failure
- Complete heart block

- Dizziness
- Visual impairment
- Pro-dysrhythmic effects
- Fatigue
Counselling Points
- Monitor for dizziness and visual disturbances.
- Avoid driving until effects are known.
- Report any new or worsening symptoms.
Serious warnings
- Increased mortality risk in post-myocardial infarction patients
- Caution in patients with conduction disorders
