Dosage (summary)
3 doses of 0.5 ml IM: 0, 2, and 6 months; 2 doses for ages 9-13.
Special Populations
- HIV-infected individuals
- Elderly (above 45 years)
- Children under 9 years
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safety not established; avoid during pregnancy; may be given during lactation.
