- Hypersensitivity to apixaban
- Active bleeding
- Severe renal disease
- Severe hepatic impairment

- Haemorrhage
- Contusion
- Epistaxis
- Haematoma

- Monitor for signs of bleeding
- Do not crush tablets unless necessary
