Initial dose of 5 mg once daily, may increase to 10 mg after 10-14 days.

Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to amlodipine
- Severe hypotension
- Shock
- Aortic stenosis
- Unstable angina

- Dizziness
- Headache
- Palpitations
- Nausea
- Ankle swelling

- Take once daily
- Monitor blood pressure
- Avoid grapefruit juice
- Report any severe side effects

- Caution in heart failure
