Indication

Prophylaxis and treatment of tuberculosis.

Dosage (summary)

Adults: Prophylaxis 5 mg/kg (max 300 mg), Treatment 5-15 mg/kg (max 900 mg).

Special Populations

  • Elderly
  • Hepatic impairment
  • Renal impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Use in pregnancy with caution; not recommended during breastfeeding.

  • Hypersensitivity to isoniazid
  • Alcoholism
  • Severe renal failure
  • Uncontrolled seizures
