Indication
Adjunctive therapy for partial onset seizures in epilepsy.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 500 mg twice daily, max 3000 mg. Children: 10 mg/kg twice daily, max 30 mg/kg.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 1.3 hours, Duration: 7-11 hours
Special Populations
- Elderly
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.

- Hypersensitivity to levetiracetam
- Fructose intolerance
- Pregnancy
