Dosage (summary)
Initial: 0.5 mg daily; Maintenance: 2 mg daily (max 4 mg).

- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy; safety in lactation not established.

- Potassium-sparing diuretics
- Lithium
- NSAIDs
- Fluoroquinolones
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to trandolapril
- History of angioedema
- Severe renal impairment
- Pregnancy
- Concomitant use of aliskiren
Common side effects
- Cough
- Dizziness
- Hypotension
- Hyperkalaemia
Counselling Points
- Monitor blood pressure regularly.
- Avoid potassium supplements.
- Report any signs of angioedema immediately.
