Indication

Dosage (summary)
Individualized; typically 0.5-1.0 units/kg/day, with 50-70% from NovoRapid.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safe in pregnancy; does not cross placenta. Safe during breastfeeding.

- Oral hypoglycemics may reduce insulin needs
- Beta-blockers may mask hypoglycemia symptoms

- Hypersensitivity to insulin aspart
- Hypoglycaemia
