- Headache
- Dizziness
Counselling Points
- Report any decrease in urine volume or blood in urine.
- Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration.
- Monitor for signs of renal function decline.
Serious warnings
- May mask gastric malignancy symptoms
- Risk of Clostridium difficile associated diarrhoea
- Acute interstitial nephritis
- Hypomagnesaemia
