Dosage (summary)
1 sachet daily for children 2-6 years; 2 sachets for 7-11 years; max 4 sachets/day.
Special Populations
- Renal insufficiency
- Impaired cardiovascular function
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Limited data; negligible systemic exposure expected.
Key Drug Interactions
- Decreased efficacy with anti-epileptics
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to ingredients
- Intestinal obstruction
- Not for children under 2 years

- Diarrhoea
- Abdominal pain
- Nausea
- Headache

- Dissolve sachet in 62.5 ml water
- Do not use continuously
- Consult if bowel habits change
Serious warnings
- Risk of dependence with prolonged use
- Monitor for electrolyte disturbances
