Indication

2.5 mg/kg bodyweight per day or 50-75 mg/mu00b2 body surface area per day.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Avoid during pregnancy; contraindicated in breastfeeding.
Key Drug Interactions
- Allopurinol (reduce dose to 25%)
- Ribavirin (increased toxicity)
- Methotrexate (increased plasma concentrations)
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to 6-mercaptopurine or excipients
