Dosage (summary)
Apply 3 cm of gel to affected area, 3-4 times daily.

Contraindicated in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to piroxicam
- Porphyria
Common side effects
- Nausea
- Skin rash
- Local irritation
Counselling Points
- Avoid contact with eyes
- Do not apply to open wounds
Serious warnings
- Risk of Stevens-Johnson syndrome
- Monitor for skin reactions
