Indication
Treatment of seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 2 sprays into each nostril once daily. Children (2-11 years): 1 spray into each nostril once daily.
Special Populations
- Children under 2 years
- Patients with recent nasal surgery
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safety in pregnancy and lactation not established.
Key Drug Interactions
- Strong CYP3A4 inhibitors may increase corticosteroid effects
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to ingredients
- Children under 2 years
Common side effects
- Epistaxis
- Pharyngitis
- Nasal burning
- Headache
Counselling Points
- Shake well before use
- Repriming required after 14 days of non-use
- Report any visual disturbances
Serious warnings
- Do not use with untreated nasal infections
- Monitor for adrenal insufficiency during corticosteroid transfer
