Indication

Dosage (summary)
Starting dose: 3 mg once daily for 1 month, then 7 mg once daily; may increase to 14 mg after 1 month.

Onset: 1 week, Duration: 24 hours

- Elderly
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to potential risks.

- Levothyroxine

- Sulfonylureas
Contraindications
- Personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma
- Multiple Endocrine Neoplasia syndrome type 2
- Hypersensitivity to semaglutide
