Dosage (summary)
6 mg IV every 3-4 weeks; adjust based on severity of hypercalcaemia.
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
- Children under 18
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation due to lack of clinical experience.
Key Drug Interactions
- Aminoglycosides may lower serum calcium
- Do not mix with calcium-containing solutions
