Adults: 750 mg - 1.5 g/day; serious infections up to 6 g/day.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to penicillins
- History of hypersensitivity to u03b2-lactam antibiotics

- Diarrhoea
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Skin rashes
- Headache

- Monitor for allergic reactions
- May reduce efficacy of oral contraceptives
