Indication

Prophylactic treatment of gout and hyperuricaemia.

Dosage (summary)

Adults: Start with 50 mg twice daily, increase to 200-400 mg daily as needed.

Onset of Action / Duration

Onset: 30-60 mins, Duration: 24 hours

  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation.
