Adults: 5 mg once daily, may increase to 10 mg after 10-14 days.

Safety in pregnancy not established; excreted in breast milk.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to amlodipine
- Severe hypotension
- Shock
- Heart failure after myocardial infarction
- Aortic stenosis
