Indication

Dosage (summary)

One tablet daily for 28 days; start on day 1 of menstrual cycle.

Special Populations

  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Not indicated during pregnancy; not recommended during breastfeeding.

Key Drug Interactions

  • Enzyme inducers (e.g., phenytoin, rifampicin)

Contraindications

  • Thromboembolic disorders
  • Severe hepatic disease
  • Severe renal insufficiency
  • Undiagnosed vaginal bleeding
  • Known or suspected pregnancy
