Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to components
- Bronchial asthma
- Cardiac failure
- Active herpes simplex keratitis
Common side effects
- Eye irritation
- Increased iris pigmentation
- Headache
- Conjunctivitis

- Monitor for eye irritation
- May cause transient vision blurring
- Remove contact lenses before use
Serious warnings
- Systemic effects of beta-blockers
- Caution in patients with respiratory disorders
- Potential for macular oedema
