Indication
Treatment of HR-positive, HER2-negative advanced or metastatic breast cancer.
Dosage (summary)
125 mg orally once daily with food for 21 days, followed by 7 days off.
Special Populations
- Elderly population
- Hepatic impairment
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not recommended during pregnancy; may cause fetal harm. Avoid breastfeeding.
Key Drug Interactions
- CYP3A inhibitors (e.g., itraconazole) increase palbociclib levels.
- CYP3A inducers (e.g., rifampicin) decrease palbociclib levels.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to palbociclib or excipients.
