Indication

Treatment of infections caused by susceptible strains of bacteria, including respiratory tract infections, skin infections, and otitis media.

Dosage (summary)

Adults: 250 mg to 500 mg every 6 hours. Children: 125 mg to 250 mg every 6 hours, depending on the severity of the infection.

Onset of Action / Duration

Onset of action typically occurs within 1 to 2 hours after administration, with duration of effect lasting approximately 6 hours.
