Dosage (summary)

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Use during pregnancy only if the potential benefit justifies the potential risk to the fetus. Caution is advised during lactation as risperidone is excreted in breast milk.
Key Drug Interactions
- CNS depressants may enhance sedative effects.
- Antihypertensive agents may have additive effects leading to hypotension.
- Other antipsychotics may increase the risk of side effects.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to risperidone or any of the excipients.
- Severe central nervous system depression.
- Comatose states.
