Indication
Allergic conjunctivitis.
Dosage (summary)
Adults and children over 4 years: 1-2 drops in each eye, four times daily.
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safety in pregnancy and lactation not established.
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to sodium cromoglicate or benzalkonium chloride.
Common side effects
- Local irritation
- Transient burning or stinging
- Blurring of vision
Counselling Points
- Discard opened pipettes after use.
- Remove contact lenses before application.
- Do not drive until vision is clear.
Serious warnings
- Contains benzalkonium chloride; do not use with soft contact lenses.
- May cause eye irritation and affect corneal surface.
