Indication
To supply energy and essential fatty acids when oral or enteral nutrition is impossible.
Dosage (summary)
Adults: 1-2 g fat/kg body weight/day; Infusion rate: max 0.15 g fat/kg body weight/hour.
Special Populations
- Neonates

- Patients with renal impairment
- Patients with liver impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Use only after careful consideration in pregnancy and breastfeeding.
Key Drug Interactions
- Heparin may increase lipolysis
- Soybean oil contains vitamin K
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to components
- Severe hyperlipidaemia
- Severe liver insufficiency
- Severe renal insufficiency
- Acute shock

- Slight increase in body temperature
