Indication

Dosage (summary)
Adults: 2-4 tablets every 6 hours (max 24 tablets/day) for acute; 4 tablets/day for remission.
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation due to potential teratogenicity.

- Increased risk of leukopenia with thiopurines
- Potentiation of anticoagulants
- Reduced absorption of folate

- Porphyria
