Dosage (summary)

7.5 mg taken orally at bedtime, not to exceed 7.5 mg per day.

Special Populations

  • Elderly patients may require a lower dose.
  • Patients with hepatic impairment should use with caution.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Use during pregnancy is not recommended unless clearly needed. Zopiclone is excreted in breast milk; caution is advised when administered to nursing mothers.
