Dosage (summary)
250 mg every 8 hours; 500 mg for severe infections.
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Limited data show no increased risk in pregnancy; excreted in breast milk with possible infant effects.

- Probenecid
- Allopurinol
- Tetracyclines
- Oral anticoagulants
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to amoxicillin
- History of severe hypersensitivity to beta-lactams
- Infectious mononucleosis

- Diarrhoea
- Nausea
- Skin rash

- Take with water without opening capsules
- Monitor for allergic reactions
- Report severe diarrhea immediately
