Indication

Treatment of ADHD in children, adolescents, and adults.

Dosage (summary)

Initial dose: 0.5 mg/kg for children <70 kg; 40 mg for those u226570 kg and adults. Maintenance: 1.2 mg/kg/day or 80 mg max.

Special Populations

  • Renal impairment
  • Hepatic impairment

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to insufficient safety data.

Key Drug Interactions

  • MAOIs
  • CYP2D6 inhibitors
  • Serotonergic medications

Contraindications

  • Hypersensitivity to atomoxetine
  • Narrow-angle glaucoma
  • Severe cardiovascular disorders
