    Dosage (summary)

    Adults: 0.5-2 g IV/IM every 8-12 hours; adjust for renal impairment.

    Special Populations

    Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

    Safety in pregnancy and lactation not established.

    Contraindications

    • Hypersensitivity to cefepime or beta-lactams

    • Diarrhoea
    • Nausea
