    Dosage (summary)

    Initial: 300 mg TID; may increase to 900-1800 mg/day.

    Special Populations

    • Elderly
    • Renal impairment

    Pregnancy & Breastfeeding

    Contraindicated in pregnancy and lactation; potential risks to fetus.

    Contraindications

    • Hypersensitivity to gabapentin
    • Severe renal impairment
    • Children under 12

    • Dizziness
