20 mg daily, may increase to 40 mg based on response; elderly: 10-20 mg.

Safety not established; may cause neonatal symptoms if used late in pregnancy.

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to citalopram
- Severe renal impairment
- Concurrent use with MAOIs
- QT prolongation
