Dosage (summary)
250 mg IM every 4-6 hours; 500 mg IV every 4-6 hours.
Special Populations
- Jaundiced neonates
- Renal impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Safety in pregnancy not established; passes into breast milk.
