Dosage (summary)
Adults: 4.5 g every 8 hours; Neutropenic patients: 4.5 g every 6 hours.
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Use only if benefits outweigh risks; crosses placenta and excreted in breast milk.
