Dosage (summary)
Intra-articular: 4-80 mg depending on joint size; IM: 40-120 mg weekly.
Onset of Action / Duration
Onset: 30 mins, Duration: 6-8 hours
Special Populations
- Renal impairment
- Hepatic impairment
Pregnancy & Breastfeeding
Not safe; may cause fetal malformations and adrenal insufficiency in infants.
