Indication
Serious Gram-positive infections.
Dosage (summary)
Moderate infections: 400 mg loading, 200 mg daily. Severe infections: 400 mg every 12 hours for 3 doses, then 400 mg daily.

Onset: 2-3 days, Duration: at least 3 days after symptoms resolve.
